Privacy Policy
Effective October 13, 2026
This policy explains what ConstantineCast processes when you use the Patristic Archive, KostaGPT, shared conversations, and related ConstantineCast websites.
Information we process
Archive searches and KostaGPT conversations
We process the search terms, prompts, and conversation history you submit so we can retrieve sources and generate a response. Your current KostaGPT conversation is also saved in your browser’s local storage so it can continue when you return.
Shared conversations
Sharing is optional. If you create a share link, the conversation snapshot is stored in our database and becomes readable by anyone who has the link. The link is not a security control, and a request that search engines not index the page does not make it private. Do not share sensitive personal information.
Technical data
Our hosting providers may process IP addresses, device and browser information, request logs, timestamps, and error data needed to deliver, secure, and diagnose the service. For share-link rate limiting, we store a one-way salted hash derived from the requesting IP address rather than the address itself.
Local storage, analytics, and fonts
We use browser local storage for conversation continuity and related preferences. We use Google Analytics to understand visits and improve the network. Google Analytics may process page views, interactions, referral information, approximate location, and device or browser information using cookies or similar identifiers. We do not use KostaGPT conversation content for targeted advertising. Pages also load Google Fonts, which may cause your browser to send ordinary network information to Google. Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
How we use information
- Provide archive search, source retrieval, KostaGPT responses, and public share links you request.
- Maintain conversation continuity on your device.
- Protect the service, enforce rate limits, troubleshoot failures, and prevent abuse.
- Improve reliability and understand aggregate service performance.
- Meet legal obligations and protect users, ConstantineCast, and the public.
Service providers
We use service providers to operate the site: Netlify for hosting and server functions, Supabase for database and retrieval services, Cloudflare R2 for archive-file storage, Ollama’s hosted API for AI generation, and Google Analytics and Google Fonts for traffic measurement and typefaces. Information is sent to these providers only as needed to perform those functions and is also subject to their applicable policies.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use KostaGPT conversations for targeted advertising.
Retention
Browser-stored conversations remain until you clear the conversation, clear site data, or remove them through your browser. Public conversation snapshots may remain until we administratively remove them. Infrastructure providers may retain security and request logs under their own retention practices. We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and security.
Your choices and requests
You can clear a KostaGPT conversation with the “Clear conversation” control and can avoid creating a public share link. You may ask us to access, correct, or delete information associated with you, or remove a shared conversation. We may need the share URL and enough information to verify and fulfill the request. Rights vary by jurisdiction.
Age restriction
ConstantineCast websites and services are intended for adults and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. People under 18 should not submit prompts, create shared conversations, or otherwise use the interactive features. A parent or guardian who believes a person under 18 has provided personal information should contact us at info@constantinecast.com so we can review and delete it as appropriate.
Security and international use
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. Our providers may process information in the United States and other locations where they operate.
Changes
We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date above will identify the current version. Material changes will be presented through a reasonable notice on the service.
